World of Warcraft Dragonflight Pre-Patch Launch Day Is Here

The day has finally arrived! The pre-patch for the next World of Warcraft expansion, Dragonflight, is live. Many new features and changes are included in this patch, so let's jump right in and look at some of the most exciting ones.

Keep in mind that Blizzard announced that there would be two phases to the Dragonflight pre-patch. So let's dive into phase one!

New User Interface

The new user interface is one of the most noticeable changes in this patch. The updates enable you to customize your UI's look and feel without needing third-party add-ons. A new action targeting system allows you to target spells and abilities at specific players or enemies. New interact button options make it easier to interact with NPCs and objects in the world.

Also, as a small side note, there are brand new icons for gathering nodes that make it easier to spot them in the world.

Talent Trees

All of the classes in World of Warcraft have received new talent trees in this patch. These talent trees have been designed to further differentiate between the different class specializations and offer a variety of new abilities and mechanics for each class.

One huge bonus is that this new talent system allows you to import and export builds to share with others across the world of Azeroth!

We highly recommend you jump onto your classes specific discord server and start looking into the best options for how to set up and play your favorite classes and specializations in the pre-patch.

New Race Class Combinations

In addition, there are now new race/class combos available, so if you've been wanting to play a particular class but didn't like any of the existing race options, you might find what you're looking for in this patch.

Resurrection Sickness

One of the most significant changes in this patch is to resurrection sickness. Previously, when you were resurrected after being killed in combat, you would suffer from a debuff that reduced all of your stats by 75% for 3 minutes. This debuff has been reduced to 1 minute in this patch, making resurrections much less painful for everyone.

Achievements

Several new achievements have been added to this patch, including mount and pet achievements. This includes achievements for 500 mounts on a single character and numerous new unique pet achievements.

In addition, icons for gathering nodes are now making it easier to spot them in the world.

Mount Achievement:

·       500 Mount Collection Achievement – Mount Reward: Otterwordly Ottuk Carrier

Pet Achievements:

·       Many More Mini Minions – Collect 1250 unique pets. Pet Reward: Crystalline Mini-Monster

·       Proven Pet Parent – Collect 1500 unique pets. Pet Reward: Secretive Frogduck

·       What Can I Say? They Love Me. – Collect 1750 Unique Pets. Pet Reward: Violet Violence

·       Good Things Come in Small Packages – Collect 2000 unique pets. Pet Reward: Mister Muskoxeles

New Press-and-Hold Casting Option

One of the most significant changes in this pre-patch is adding a new press-and-hold casting option. This option allows players to cast spells by holding down the specific keybind rather than having to click it repeatedly. This change should make it much easier for players with disabilities to play the game. In addition, a new keybind has been added for this option, making it even easier to use.

Barbershop Upgrade

In addition to the new press-and-hold casting option and cross-faction creature tagging, the barbershop has also received a significant upgrade. All changes to your character's appearance will now be free of charge, including hairstyles, facial hair, tattoos, and more. So if you've wanted to change your character's appearance but didn't want to spend the money, now is your chance!

Cross-Faction Creature Tagging

Another exciting change in this pre-patch is the implementation of cross-faction creature tagging. This means that players of opposite factions can now tag creatures together, making it easier to complete objectives and quests. This change should make questing much more enjoyable for everyone involved.

Rated Solo-Shuffle

Finally, the much beloved solo-shuffle PvP game mode has been migrated to the rated arena system. This means you can achieve all the same amazing rewards from any rated PvP activity purely through solo-shuffle if you so desire.

This is fantastic news for those players who instead not look for teammates to play with or don't have time to commit to a schedule with other players! If you're currently exploring Wrath of the Lich King, then you can go to RPGStash wow shop for safe WotLK Classic Gold, which is also the choice of most players.

What's coming in phase two?

Phase two of the pre-patch is where things start getting interesting. As a sneak peek, we can expect to see a new class, Evoker, becoming available for those players who have pre-ordered. Additionally, we will have access to the pre-patch event – Primal Storms – and the new updated Uldaman dungeon that starts some of the story coming with Dragonflight.

We will dive deeper into phase two as we get closer to November 15th.

There's a lot to be excited about in this latest World of Warcraft patch. Whether you're a fan of the new user interface or looking forward to trying out the new talent trees, there's something for everyone. So log in and check out all the exciting new changes for yourself!
